The new PvPvE horror shooter The Bornless is about to start its first Early Access playtest. The game allows pre-registered players to jump into Farmouth Island and see how long they can survive in the complex scene.
In the playtest, players will experience the Ritual game mode. You begin with your companion at Farmouth, having been brought there by unknown means. It’s a dangerous place from the start, and not just because evil clowns, Wendigos and more call the island home. Other players are also on your heels and you have to fight them to complete rituals on the island.
These rituals will give you a huge boost of power, allowing you to finally play as a demon and make everyone flee but but or not or die. In that game loop, you can also earn gear that boosts your powers, as well as build your own base of operations, making Farmouth a little more terrifying each time you take it on.
The playtest is available via Steamand will run on October 26 and 27, so you’ll have something to do the weekend before Halloween. If you want to check out the gameplay to see what it’s all about, check out the trailer below:
