“Get Ready for a Sunny and Warm Weekend: Meteorologist Shares Happy News”

HAPPY MESSAGE: The meteorologist has a happy message for those who like sun and warmth.

Now the heat is coming – at least for a few days.

For the weekend, you should find both the sun lounger, the bathing suit and the sun cream. Then the sun and heat will come, and in several places in the country the degree scale will cross the border from the 10s to the 20s, says the meteorologist.

– Today, no one crossed the magical limit. Aurskog was the closest at 19.5 degrees, but this weekend it looks like it will be 20 degrees and sunny in many places in southern Norway – that also includes Trøndelag, says on-duty meteorologist Per Egil Haga to VG.

The meteorologist says that we have good weather in store for most of southern Norway on both Saturday and Sunday.

– There may be someone who has seen the weather forecast that it will perhaps be around 25 degrees in some places. Right now, it is somewhat unlikely that the temperatures will be that high, but they may well be around 22-23 degrees at the weekend.

But unfortunately, not everyone gets to take part in the fine weather this weekend.

– Those who get the least pleasure from the high pressure are the northern part of the country. It looks like there will be cloudy weather and some precipitation, says Haga and adds that this does not come as a surprise.

– It is actually quite typical that when we get high pressure in the southern part of the country, there will be more rain, gray weather and cooler weather in the northern part. The transition zone between high pressure and low pressure will be in the southern part of Nordland, so north of Saltfjellet you probably won’t see much of the sun, says Haga.

The meteorologist adds that there is no question of a strong high pressure, and that the fine weather will therefore probably weaken slightly on Monday. This again makes the weather for next week, also including the national day, a little more uncertain.

Haga’s colleague has previously said it might be a good idea to have a plan B for 17 May.

– On National Day, it seems that there will most likely be a stay rather than rain in Southern Norway and Eastern Norway. This also applies to Western Norway south of Stadt and Trøndelag as well. In North-West Norway, it is a little more uncertain, but it will most likely be pleasant weather there as well, Haga can assure.
