Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance Heru Pambudi revealed that as many as 751 employees in his environment are planned to move to the Capital of the Archipelago (IKN). This is the total number of employees from all units that will be needed to carry out the functions of the Ministry of Finance in the new national capital.

“According to the plan, there are 751 officials and executors, starting when it depends on further orders, but we have prepared 751 of all units with compositions which of course we will adjust,” he told journalists, Friday (24/2/2023).

However, regarding the exact time when the transfer of employees will be carried out, Heru said that his party was still waiting for readiness from the government.

“For readiness there, of course we will join the government as a whole,” he continued.

Provision of housing and facilities, explained Heru, basically every Civil Servant (PNS) has the same treatment. It’s just that because this is a new area that will be placed, infrastructure facilities will be prepared that can support the work of employees in the new capital area.

“In principle, civil servants are the same everywhere, but of course later there will be facilities that have been prepared, of course there will be infrastructure,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, millennial civil servants who will later be prioritized to move to IKN turned out to be lured by many offers. For example luxury facilitation and adequacy of getting oxygen.

“Everything related to environmental and development aspects has been studied in the study. If that’s the case, this place at IKN will be a place for people who want green luxury and sufficient oxygen,” said the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas.

Anas claims that many young civil servants are interested in moving to IKN. This interest is due to the beautiful IKN land and is considered quite calm for work activities because it carries the concept of a forest city and is in accordance with the Strategic Environmental Study (KLHS).
