Earlier this month, NASA launched a new study that raises the possibility thatasteroidnamed Bennu which has a width of 536 m will hit the earth between now and the year 2300.
A type C space rock listed as a ‘potentially hazardous object’ to humans was discovered in 1999.
Bennu is one of the two most dangerous asteroids found in the solar system.
