A story was told about a conflict caused by a passenger in the next seat who went to the bathroom too often on the plane.

On the 12th (local time), British media The Mirror reported a case in which a traveler who had reserved a middle seat on an airliner was criticized for going to the bathroom 4 times during the 3-hour flight.

The traveler heard that ‘some people get dehydrated more easily in the air’ and took two 1.1L water bottles with them before boarding the plane to replenish their hydration. He had reserved a middle seat, not aisle or window. As a result, he had to travel to the bathroom every 45 minutes on average, which made the woman who was sleeping in an aisle seat uncomfortable.

When the traveler used the bathroom for the third time, the woman in the aisle seat asked if she could tolerate it for the rest of the flight. However, the traveler did not take the female passenger’s request seriously and eventually requested a fourth move.

“(When I asked for a fourth move) she (the passenger next to me) said it was rude for not complying with my request,” he said. He said going to the bathroom was the best option.”

The conflict between the two passengers ended after the plane landed. However, as an article about the story was later posted on an online community site, netizens were in a heated debate.
