IDXChannel – Pamper users, Facebook is known to add the Reels feature to its app. This Reels feature is not actually new, because it was already on Instagram.
Now, Facebook has finally extended the short video feature to their main application and is only available in the United States.
The company created by Mark Zuckerberg is known to have announced more than a month ago that it is testing the integration of short video content on Instagram Reels with its main application. Variety, Friday (1/10/2021)
Reels on Facebook, like the Instagram version, can include music, audio, and augmented-reality effects.
Available on the Facebook iOS and Android apps, Reels can appear on Home or in Groups. Reels on Facebook are limited to 30 seconds, while Instagram Reels can be up to 60 seconds long.
Similar to Reels Instagram, Facebook says the company will soon start testing ads with the same format. The social media company will also test sticker ads and banner ads on Reels on Facebook. (NDA)
