Get involved: FC in action for a clean Cologne

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, 1. FC Köln will support the AWB Köln’s “Kölle putzmunter” campaign and collect garbage around the Geißbockheim. All FC fans are invited to take part in the campaign as part of “World Clean Up Day”.

The “Kölle putzmunter” campaign is entering the next round: After the green areas at the RheinEnergieSTADION were cleaned up in the last campaign, 1. FC Köln is now taking part in the AWB Köln campaign again and is taking on the area around the Geißbockheim. The FC is delighted with the active support of its fans. As a small thank you, each participant will receive an FC scarf. In addition to FC stadium announcer Michael Trippel, other FC protagonists will also help out.

Equipment is provided to FC fans

The meeting point for the approximately two-hour event is on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Geißbockheim. All FC fans who help out will be provided with gloves, garbage bags and a grabber. The voluntary garbage collection is organized by the football and fan culture department of 1. FC Köln and is part of the sustainability concept of 1. FC Köln.
