For most Flemish people, the annual tax return means stress. It remains a challenge to find your way through the maze of codes in your tax letter. A mistake can cost you a lot of money. HLN and VTM NEWS will come to your aid on Saturday 3 June with the ‘Tax Marathon’.
More than 50 tax experts are available for 12 hours to assist you to help you complete and/or check your tax return. The event will take place in the DPG Media building in Antwerp. You can free come by, but you must register in advance. Be quick, the number of places is limited.

Do you want help completing your tax letter? Would you like to have your tax proposal checked? Or do you want to know what the best approach is for you? It is possible at the Tax Marathon. Choose the time of your choice on June 3 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. One of our experts will answer your questions. Those who want can also immediately submit their tax return. Our tax expert Michel Maus and news anchor Cathérine Moerkerke will also be there.
Who are the tax experts?
A team of more than 50 tax experts will be available for 12 hours to personally assist you with completing and/or checking your tax return. This team consists of experts from the FPS Finance and independent tax specialists from the ‘Fiscaal Ideal’ action group, the Institute for Tax Advisors & Accountants (ITAA) and the ACV.
Who can visit our experts?
The advice only concerns personal income tax. The HLN Tax Marathon is therefore not for the self-employed, they should ask their accountant for advice. Readers with foreign income can drop by, we also provide an answer to their questions. Each expert takes fifteen minutes to look at your questions, so try to formulate your questions as concretely as possible.
