After the announcement of EA SPORTS F1 23 you can get first impressions of the updated features today. This includes in particular the physics, the handling and the red flags for strategic elements.
As previously mentioned, the driving behavior of F1 23 improved compared to last season and allows for more predictable gameplay. New vehicle physics give cars better traction when braking, accelerating and cornering this year.
For example, by incorporating feedback from the F1 team, a better balance between aerodynamics and tire grip has been achieved, resulting in a more realistic driving feel. Improvements in engine torque and inertia also provide more authentic throttle control and a better connection to the vehicle. In addition to these improvements, the “Precision Drive” controller technology gives the pad players more control and security in the crucial racing moments.
Thanks to community feedback, the 35% race distance also makes its debut this year, offering the perfect compromise between the previous short and long race options. Meanwhile, the red flags bring a new element of strategy and the ability to react quickly to change the outcome of a race for better or worse.
