Ski Dubai has announced the start of early ticket discounts for the 14th edition of the Ice Warrior Challenge event, which will be organized next September 24, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council. The destination, which won the award for the best indoor ski resort in the world, will be transformed into a 3.5 km long course that includes more than 20 obstacles, including a horizontal ladder swing, wheel racing, net crawling and cold water swimming.
The demand for the Ice Warrior Challenge has grown since its launch in 2010, as it has become one of the most favorite sporting events for enthusiasts, and attracts elite athletes from all over the world, as well as locals and foreigners of all levels of fitness. The event was a huge success last year, with more than 300 contestants from 46 countries participating.
The challenge receives participants, both men and women, between the ages of 15 and 60, where the individual category is available to participants of all fitness levels, while the elite category is limited to participants with high fitness to complete the challenge in less than 25 minutes. Groups of five people can also participate in the challenge, which contributes to enhancing cooperation skills between members of work teams, and strengthening the bonds of friendship between friends. Early tickets are available at reduced prices until Friday 25th of this month, compared to 210 dirhams for the individual category, 250 dirhams for the elite category, and 185 dirhams per person in the teams category.
