The first Bloons TD6 game was released in 2018 and was created by New Zealand studio Ninja Kiwi. This is an indie gem that was purchased by over half a million players on Steam within the first week of its release. In Loop Hero, the world has been cursed by a malevolent lich and a kind of time loop has occurred. You, as the main character, are trying to remove the curse of the lich, you have to train in each chapter of the game, defeating increasingly powerful enemies and getting better equipment in order to defeat the bosses in the form of demonic guardians and finally the main villain who put the curse on your world.
Battles in this game take place automatically, without player intervention. You get better equipment, experience and special cards with different effects from the fights. You can place these cards in different places on the map to create stronger enemies with better loot, or get materials thanks to them that you can use to build new buildings in your camp. Although the game only has 4 chapters, it can still keep you busy for many hours. Loop Hero is normally sold on Epic for 310 crowns.
Loop Hero earned a metascore of 82 from expert reviewers on metacritic and a 7.9 overall rating from players.
