Paradox Tectonic has published a few minutes of gameplay of the upcoming game Life by You, which is already being called the “Sims killer” on the Web. Notably, the development studio is led by Rod Humble, former head of The Sims brand at EA.
In the first video, you can look at a short conversation between the two characters that strengthens their relationship. This system is considered one of the main advantages over The Sims, where Sims use a fictional language to communicate.
The next video shows more mundane gameplay mechanics, including eating, sleeping, showering, and building a sandcastle on the beach.
Life by You will be released on PC in Early Access on September 12, 2023.
