Get a lifeline in Apex Legends: Season 23

It’s time for another season of Apex Legends. Called From the Rift, the 23rd season of Respawn’s popular battle royale game could appear as soon as today. With that in mind, what’s new? What is known to be there? What are the big changes and new developments this season? There are some exciting plans, but without a doubt the biggest and most promising is a major overhaul of the Apex Legends veteran, a character that has been around since day one: Lifeline. Yes, the support medicine is getting an overhaul in an effort to bring it in line with its competitors, and as part of a recent developer roundtable, Respawn told us what that means.

Lifeline 2.0

As other characters become more powerful, Lifeline feels a lack, which is why she acquires new skills. First, her passive allows her to move around the map more easily, all by grabbing her droid companion DOC and being able to move using it. To continue, her tactics have also been changed to be less tough, meaning that Lifeline can pick and target a friend and have a DOC path and continuously heal them, and Lifeline can target the target change at any time. Finally, her last skill is to ignore the care package system and instead go around the 360-degree Halo Shield system that the DOC can generate. This will protect your allies from bullet damage while allowing nearby players to heal faster.

These changes also go up and are enhanced by some changes in support range, with the entire class now boasting two new passive points. The first is Heal Expert, which makes the support character move faster while healing. The second is Speed Recovery, which, as you might guess, allows supports to revive allies faster and even gives allies better health regeneration for a short period of time. active.

Lifeline will also see some visual changes, but Respawn promises to explain the changes in more depth as the season continues.

Rift Relic

The next big change is the addition of Rift Relics, hence the name of the season. These are powerful items that pay homage to Apex Legends and Titanfall lore and can be found in cosmic portals around each map. You’ll find deadly weapons like the EPG-1 Titanfall rocket launcher with unlimited ammo, or high-impact jump and weapon upgrades, including a weapon called Lifesteal that lets you take part of the damage done to harm to heal enemies. Upgrade packages can also be found here, these offer “Ability to Warp Reality”whether it’s turning back time or avoiding the clutches of death.

In addition to a new battle pass that includes a ton of new cosmetics, the final note added to Season 23: From the Rift is the new universal melee weapon Raptor’s Claw. This is a cosmetic item that allows players to use a strike knife instead of the normal melee skills offered by each character.
