After more than 45 years of membership, the United Kingdom left the European Union on December 31, 2020. Shortly before the end of the year, a “Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and Great Britain” was concluded.

The new regulation of European-British relations was adopted at the very last minute. Seconded employees, business trips or work in the home office are now confronting employers and employees with a new “Brexit reality”.
