It is reported that the equipment package, in particular, included AMRAAM C8 guidance radars, AIM-120 training missiles and communications protection devices. The main supplier of missiles and additional equipment is Raytheon.

AMRAAM are medium-range air-to-air missiles. They are the main armament of the F-15C, F-15E, F-16, F/A-18C/D, F/A-18E/F, F-22 fighters. Depending on the modification, the cost of one rocket varies from 1.2 million to 1.9 million dollars.

Germany reforms the armed forces

Germany intends in the coming years to spend heavily on the rearmament of its armed forces.

So, in July, the Bundeswehr ordered several hundred thousand shells for artillery from the German arms concern Rheinmetall. This is necessary to replenish stocks. The potential value of the order is 1.2 billion euros.

Germany will also acquire 60 Chinook military helicopters from the American company Boeing. Their cost is more than 6 billion euros. In addition to helicopters, the money will also go towards maintenance, national contracts and infrastructure.
