Finally experience collegial exchange and exciting personalities live again! Under the motto: “Lead. Strengthen. Motivate. ”The German Kitaeitungskongress (DKLK) will be launched in four other cities across Germany until October and will provide strong impetus for education and leadership. Düsseldorf and Hamburg made the start. The next date is Berlin on September 20 and 21, Leipzig will follow on September 27 and 28, then Stuttgart and Augsburg. There are over 50 speakers from science and practice, including Eva Ullmann, head of the German Institute for Humor in Leipzig. Seriously, it conveys that laughter helps – even with the challenging work in early childhood education.
The organizers of the German Kitaeitungskongresses are in the starting blocks for the Saxony date of the popular series of events: “The great interest shown by Kita administrators in the congress in Leipzig, too, makes it clear that the DKLK is perceived as a mouthpiece for early childhood education,” says Axel Korda, Managing Director from Fleet Education Events. “Last year we had very good experiences with digital events and received great feedback from the participants. When it comes to networking and exchanges among colleagues, personal contact is still the ideal solution, “says Axel Korda and emphasizes:” We are proud to support the Kita management with the DKLK in their very important educational work lays the foundations for a successful education, to be able to support. “
“The DKLK has developed into the largest specialist event for Kita administrators in the German-speaking region,” says Udo Beckmann, federal chairman of the Association for Education and Upbringing (VBE), which co-organizes the congress. “The fact that in this particularly challenging year for specialists from daycare centers, too, many Kita managements invest in the quality and further development of their work and come to the DKLK deserves the highest recognition. We look forward to it and will do everything we can to make the DKLK in Leipzig, after the successful events in Düsseldorf and Hamburg, a lively, insightful event that appreciates the work of educators. “
Dr. Nicole Wolframs, head of the day care unit in the Saxon State Ministry of Education. The DKLK is a joint event of Fleet Education Events, the VBE Federal Association and the three VBE regional associations, the Bavarian Teachers’ Association (BLLV), the VBE Baden-Württemberg and the VBE North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as the AOK.
Program full of impulses for practice
Kita managers can look forward to a program full of practical impulses. The congress, which is recognized as advanced training, offers a mixture of over 60 workshops, lectures and practical forums, among other things, fresh ideas for leadership and self-management. “How can I strengthen my team in order to successfully face challenging situations? And how can team members be specifically promoted individually and successfully implement the quality requirements through a dynamic we-feeling? “These are just some of the questions to which the speakers at the DKLK offer answers.
For example, Dr. Renate Zimmer, educational scientist with a focus on early childhood and professor of sports science at the University of Osnabrück. It shows how managers in day-care centers can discover and develop their own psychosocial resources and strengths in the children and in the team. The focus is on experiencing self-efficacy as well as creating an active day-to-day day-care center.
Also from Berlin: Romy Trinks, prevention advisor from the professional association for health service and welfare (BGW), who provides information on the subject of “Safe in the future – be on the safe side when it comes to occupational safety”, team coach Christina Becker, who reveals the Kita management how they should deal with dissatisfied employees, as well as Dr. Iren Schulz, media coach at SCHAU HIN !, an initiative funded by the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs that imparts media skills.
A lot of things go better with humor, including the challenging educational work in daycare – says Eva Ullmann, who has worked as a humor trainer, speaker and author for many years. She founded the German Institute for Humor in Leipzig and is on the road to numerous lectures in institutions and companies in the German-speaking world – now also at the German Kita Management Congress.
The topic of daycare development also goes hand in hand with educational support. The DKLK 2021 shows, among other things, how Kita managers can use the conscious use of diversity management and appreciative communication to create a contemporary Kita culture. But not only diversity or the differences between children and colleagues offers a lot of potential. Under the motto: “There is no such thing as impossible!” Tan Caglar also shows, for example, “Surprising ways for more motivation and inclusion” and thus a better quality of life.
Caglar is a comedian, coach, author, patron of the Kultur Inklusiv project of the parent network NRW and a professional basketball player. And he can speak firsthand about his experiences with inclusion. The 41-year-old from Hildesheim was born with spina bifida, a congenital spinal cord disease. His passion for basketball developed in childhood. At 21 he played in the major league, at 25 he switched to a wheelchair and at 28 he got a professional wheelchair basketball contract. Tan Caglar has also become a professional in front of the camera. In 2016, he was the first model to ride the catwalk at Berlin Fashion Week in a wheelchair, and a little later he appeared on a comedy stage for the first time. A year later, his 90-minute comedy program “Rollt bei mir…!” Premiered. To understand inclusion, says Caglar, it is often enough to change your perspective. That is why he lets his audience participate in his personal point of view in a mixture of fun and seriousness and reveals how, despite all adversities, he became the leader of a small kindergarten gang.
