Wolfsburg –
German managed to beat Liechtenstein 9-0 in 2022 World Cup Qualification. Despite winning big, the face of the coach Hansi Flick looks flat on the edge of the field.
Playing at the Volkswagen Arena, Friday (12/11) early in the morning, Germany had a 4-0 lead in the first half through Ilkay Guendogan, Daniel Kaufmann, Leroy Sane, and Marco Reus own goals. In the second half, Sane added another goal, followed by Thomas mueller (two goals), Baku Ridle and an own goal by Maximilian Goppel.
This victory further confirms the position of Germany, who has qualified for Qatar, at the top of Group J with 24 points. Even better, this is Die Mannschaft’s sixth straight win at the hands of Flick.
Even so, there is a unique scene towards the end of the game. At 9-0, Flick’s face sitting on the bench was still flat. His expression was even considered too serious for a team that had won big and would not be overtaken.

When the long whistle sounded, he just shook hands normally with his staff. Even so, it’s not that Flick underestimates this fight. He was actually satisfied that his team won big.
“Of course I’m satisfied. I’m happy (Joachim) Loew can see nine goals after he is no longer coaching,” said Flick, quoted by the official DFB website. Loew was present at the match to receive an award for his 17 years of dedication to the German national team.
“The atmosphere is fantastic. When the team scores a lot of goals and we celebrate, it’s always great,” explained Flick add.
Hmm, maybe Flick expects Germany to score a tenth goal…
