Germany U-17 Training Ahead of 2023 World Cup Final

Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The German national team held training, Thursday (30/11/2023), ahead of the 2023 U-17 World Cup final which took place at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (2/12/2023). However, this session was only followed by two players.

Monitoring Liputan6.com At the West City Field, Germany’s training session on Thursday at around 16.30 WIB was attended by only two goalkeepers, namely Louis Babatz and Max Schmitt.

The training session begins with light warm-up movements by running short distances. They practice in front of the goal on the south side of the field located in Mangkubemen Village, Solo. After that, the two of them took turns catching ball practice accompanied by the goalkeeper coach.

Germany U-17 head coach Christian Wuck did not appear to be present at training on the field. The practice was only monitored by the goalkeeping coach, with two other assistants just standing next to the goalposts.

The 2023 U-17 World Cup final will be the third meeting between Germany and France this year. At Euro U-17 2023, Germany won 3-1 in the group phase and won 5-4 (0-0) on penalties in the final.
