Coach Jerman U-17 Christian Wuck reveals the title 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia it is so impressive.
Apart from being happy because his team has just won the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Wuck feels grateful to be able to get to know and set foot in Indonesia.
“I am very grateful to have gotten to know this country. I am very grateful for meeting people. I have never waved as much on the bus as when we went to training or to a match in Indonesia,” said Wuck.
“The conditions are very, very good. Not only the match conditions, for example the stadium, but also the training conditions. A very, very big compliment and I would be happy to come back anytime,” he continued.
Regarding the success of Germany U-17, Wuck believes that Paris Brunner and his friends are now on the right track. This is because Germany U-17 has just successfully combined the U-17 European Cup title with the U-17 World Cup, which is the first time this has happened.
Wuck also gave a message to the clubs where his players play to provide opportunities for the players to continue to develop.
“I think German clubs and football must ensure that their performance can continue in the main competition. What they need is trust. They need a club or association that can accept shortcomings, and they are ready to show their character and talent,” he said.
Germany U-17 confirmed the 2023 U-17 World Cup title after winning 4-3 (2-2) on penalties over France at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday (2/12) evening WIB.
