Germany will provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid in the amount of 400 million euros. The German Ministry of Defense reports that tens of thousands of ammunition and two hundred armored vehicles will be transferred to Kyiv.
“Delivery plan (to Ukraine – URA.RU note): 30 thousand 155 mm shells, 3.8 thousand smoke shells of the same caliber, 105 thousand 120 mm shells for various purposes, 480 AT2 anti-tank missiles, 200 MRAP armored vehicles,” it is reported in the list on the website of the German Defense Ministry. Also, repair and recovery vehicles, mine clearance systems, Gepard self-propelled guns and IRIS-T air defense systems will be transferred to Kyiv.
Formerly head of the German Ministry of Defense Boris Pistorius promised make a decision on the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine within a few weeks. The delay is related to the issue of the safety of the Germans themselves, and Kyiv, in turn, should treat this with understanding. In particular, the United States refused to guarantee Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky a new aid package, reports “National News Service.”
