PARIS, Oct 25 (Reuters) – Economic sentiment in Germany remained unchanged in October compared to September but emerged above consensus, a monthly survey by the economic studies institute Ifo showed on Tuesday.
Its index came in at 84.3 after a similar figure in September, when economists and analysts interviewed by Reuters expected a slowdown to 83.3 on average.
The component of business executives’ judgment on their current business conditions stood at 94.1 after 94.5 last month and that of measuring the evolution of their expectations stood at 75.6 this month after 75 , 3 (rvis) of September. The consensus was 92.4 and 75.0 respectively.
