Germany gave Ukraine a new package of military aid. It included the TRML-4D air defense radar and Vector reconnaissance drones.
The list of help includes:
- Air surveillance radar system TRML-4D;
- Armored bridge layers Biber – 2;
- Reconnaissance drones Vector – 46;
- Anti-drone systems – 8;
- Frontier cars – 6;
- Weight trucks 8×6 – 2;
- Tractors with semi-trailers – 5;
- Trucks Zetros – 8.
TRML-4D radar uses the latest Active Electronics Scanned Array radar technology with multiple digital beams.
It is capable of early detection of various types of airborne targets such as aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles. It provides operational detection and tracking of about 1,500 targets within a radius of up to 250 km.
UAV Vector is a fixed-wing UAV that is capable of taking off and landing vertically. The UAV does not require a launch catapult or runway. According to the manufacturer, the drone is capable of operating at wind speeds up to 12 m/s.
