Until Sunday (18/7) Germany was still hit by floods. The Berchtesgadener Land district in Bavaria bordering Austria was hit by floods, killing one person.
Floods in Germany have occurred since July 15 last. Until today the death toll reached 156 people.
The district of Ahrweiler was the worst-hit area, with a total death toll of 110 people.
After Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, the European flood also extended to Austria. The flood dragged people’s cars.
