Ukraine received several rocket launchers and three self-propelled howitzers from Germany, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced, quoted by DPA and BTA.
Lambrecht disclosed this information a day after the first batch of German Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns arrived in Ukraine. Kyiv is expected to receive 12 more Cheetahs.
Germany has handed over three MARS II jet systems to Ukraine, also ZDF, also referring to Lambrecht. “We keep our word,” the minister was quoted as saying. The chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi Andriy Yermak confirmed the news in Telegram.
Lambrech has announced that in September Germany will give the Cobra radar, and the training of the Ukrainian military to work with it has already begun.
