German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said the government in Berlin is not yet considering providing fighter jets to Ukraine.

“This is not the subject of our debate,” Burbock said on Monday during a visit to Helsinki.
On Tuesday, Western defense ministers and military officials are gathering in Brussels for another meeting in the Ramstein format.
At the meeting, the Western allies will discuss further arms supplies to Ukraine. The meeting takes place in parallel with the NATO ministerial meeting.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said on Monday that the Alliance discussion underway providing Western-style fighter jets to Ukraine, and the speed with which such assistance can be provided is important in this regard.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said earlier that any decision on the supply of fighter jets to Ukraine should come from NATO.
