Germany has banned traveler arrivals since Portugal Y Russia since this Tuesday, June 29, given the high number of cases of the variant of the COVID-19 Delta registered in both countries in the last weeks. The German Robert Koch Institute, a federal government agency and research institute responsible for disease control and prevention, revealed the new additions to the list of countries with the prevalence of the virulent variant responsible for the latest outbreaks. The measure assumes that, apart from the citizens and residents of Germany who will be isolated, all travelers from these two nations have closed borders.
