Germany allows transfer of MiG-29 aircraft from Poland to Ukraine

The German federal government plans to allow Poland to transfer five MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.

It is known that we are talking about aircraft from the old stocks of the GDR, which Warsaw once received from Berlin.

“Berlin will allow Warsaw to transfer the MiG-29 to Kyiv on the stocks of the former GDR, the decision will be made today,” the newspaper writes.

Earlier, the media learned that Poland plans to request permission from Germany regarding the transfer of aircraft. It was reported that a corresponding letter had already arrived in Berlin.
