Thomas Tuchel’s bitter relationship with the Dfb-Pokal continues, the one which last year saw his Bayern Monaco exiting the scene in the quarter-finals a few days after his hiring. Despite the advantage achieved by Müller (16′), the Bavarians managed to come back from the start Saarbrückenplaying in the 3.Liga: Gaus scores the 2-1 in the 96th minute, which means elimination. Freiburg is also out, Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen advance.
The unthinkable happens in the second round of the Dfb-Pokal, the German Cup, which continues to be haunted for Thomas Tuchel and his Bayern.
