Amazon Prime Video has secured the rights to the new AMC series Kevin Can F *** Himself. At the end of August, the bitter sitcom satire will celebrate its German premiere on the streaming platform. Here all information

On Friday, August 27th, the new AMC series Kevin Can F *** Himself will finally start in Germany. The streaming platform Amazon Prime Video has secured the international broadcasting rights. All eight episodes of the opening season should then appear in one fell swoop.

Kevin Can F *** Himself is about a very special kind of woman: the sitcom woman. The AMC format by showrunner Craig DiGregorio (Shrill, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World) wants to break with all the conventions of the sitcom genre and make her the real heroine of the story, instead of the pretty decoration as usual. Instead of smiling friendly and forgiving her loser husband for everything, she now makes the decisions. The series alternates again and again between multi-camera settings and classic sitcom scenes as well as single-camera realism.
