German police find more than 910,000 euros in a car from the Netherlands | Inland

The man with Lebanese nationality was checked on Wednesday at Elten, Germany, just west of Gelderland. When officers asked him if he had more than 10,000 euros in cash, the man denied. Moments later, they found shopping bags full of money in his trunk. Notes were also found behind the car radio.

The money was seized by the federal police. After consultation with the public prosecutor, it was decided that the motorist was allowed to drive on. An investigation into him is still ongoing.
