For most teenagers, there are probably only two absolute dream jobs: soccer player and rapper. Be world-famous, earn millions and be well received by all women. You can have worse goals for your life. But while this dream is denied to most of them, some German rappers even had the chance for both careers.
With KC Rebell, Mero and Marteria there are three rap stars of today who could have made it to professional football, but lost their way through various decisions. Although they did not become professionals in the end, they are likely to be among the best footballers on the German rap scene to this day.
But you don’t have to be an aspiring soccer star to be able to do some nice things with the ball. Even without having had a great career as a footballer in prospect, Dardan’s story now shows that he has a few skills in his repertoire and that he has a real magic foot.
The rapper is currently on vacation in Dubai with his girlfriend Hava. There the 23-year-old met a real German soccer legend and played a 2-on-2 game against Kevin Kuranyi on the soccer field. Although his career as a national player had ended in 2008, he played his last professional game around 4 years ago and should not have forgotten too much.
That doesn’t prevent Dardan from pulling past him with a cheeky chopping trick. First he takes the ball with a 1-touch, continues to play it with the hoe and then presents a few more tricks such as a couple of step-overs and a lob.
How Kuranyi reacts to Dardan’s trick can be seen in his posture. The 38-year-old takes the matter with humor and shares the musician’s story in his story. There he even describes him as the “German Neymar”.
