German National Team Failed at Euro 2020, Manuel Neuer Sad: Okezone Bola

LONDON – Manuel Neuer comments after failing to win for the national team (Timnas) German in the match against England in the round of 16 Euro 2020. Neuer also admitted that he was very frustrated and saddened by the defeat.

As is known, the German national team did swallow a bitter pill when they underwent a match against England in the round of 16 of the 2020 European Cup. In the match played at Wembley Stadium, the German national team gave up with the final score 0-2 from England.

The defeat made Neuer unable to hold back his tears after the long whistle sounded. Because not only about the defeat, he also felt sad to know that his coach’s career in Germany, Joachim Low, ended in an unhappy way.

“After the final whistle, I looked at the bench and of course I felt sad when I saw Jogi (Joachim Low),” Neuer said.
