“German Ministry’s Decision on Russian Citizen’s Mobilization Avoidance: Approval and Rejection Rates Revealed”

Most applications are still being processed. At the end of April, decisions were made on 814 applications: 55 of them were approved, 88 were rejected. 671 requests were answered by referring to the provisions of the Dublin Agreement, according to which such requests must be processed by the European Union countries where the person entered first.

The German Ministry of the Interior has previously indicated that decisions on Russian citizens who avoid mobilization in the army will be made on a case-by-case basis and after a thorough examination of the person requesting protection.
