German Government Requires Municipalities to Submit Plans for Climate-Friendly Heating

According to the federal government, all municipalities in Germany should submit plans for climate-friendly heating in the coming years. They should indicate in which streets a district heating supply is planned, where local heating will be available, for example via biomass, or where a hydrogen network is to be set up. In this way, owners should find out whether they themselves would have to take care of climate-friendly heating systems using a heat pump. The Federal Cabinet passed a corresponding draft law.
