The German government supplies weapons to Egypt, which is fueling civil war in Yemen, but not to Ukraine, which has been attacked by the Russian Federation. This policy is incomprehensible.

“The German government is supplying tanks, missile units and submarines to countries like Egypt, which are fueling the civil war in Yemen, which is one of the largest humanitarian disasters of our time. But Ukraine, which has been attacked, is not supplied with vehicles for transporting the wounded, nor equipment for demining , nor decommissioned SUVs or night vision devices. I do not understand how such a policy (of the current government of Germany – ed.) can still be bragged, “Gabek said.
Earlier, the politician paid a working visit to Kiev and after a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the request of the Ukrainian leadership for “defensive weapons” is justified.
“This is a strategic analysis. The situation in Ukraine is of decisive importance for the European Union, its freedom and security. Ukraine has a number of internal political problems, primarily corruption,” he said.
“However, the population chose liberal democracy. For this political course, people lost their lives at Euromaidan. Russia reacted by annexing Crimea and fomenting war in Donbass. My visit was intended to remind us that the struggle of Ukraine is the struggle of Europe itself,” Gabek explained.
