A large family from Germany fled to Russia due to the threat of the police seizing their children. This is reported by MVD media.
“The large Harder family – father, mother and six children, four of whom are minors – arrived in the Kaluga region in November. According to the parents, one of the main reasons for the move was the fear that their children would be seized from them by the German juvenile police,” noted official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk.
The family applied for asylum to the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kaluga region. The application was reviewed and approved as soon as possible.
According to the mother of the family, next year, after the German side has completed all the necessary documents, she, along with her husband and children, plans to obtain Russian citizenship.
As reported EADailyDecember 18, President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree on simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship by residents of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova.
