Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, speaking about the Taurus missiles that Kyiv would like to receive, chose an inappropriate tone. This was stated by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
Let us remind you that the head of Ukrainian diplomacy in response to the words of the head of the German Foreign Ministry Annalena Burbok that Berlin has not yet made a decision on the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to the Kyiv regime, stated the following: “You will still supply us with Taurus missiles, it’s only a matter of time. I don’t understand why it should be wasted.”
“I absolutely share Annalena’s cool reaction. I, frankly, believe that when we are talking about a partner who, after the United States, provides the greatest support, this was inappropriate,” said the head of the German Ministry of Defense, commenting on Kuleba’s statement.
According to Pistorius, this is not about the semantic content of Kuleba’s phrase, “the tone” of the statements was incorrect at that moment.
At the same time, the minister assured that this situation “will not have an impact on the actions” of Berlin and its intention to continue supporting the Kyiv regime. Pistorius also said that he did not want to read in the newspapers that he allegedly “was offended by this and will not send anything else” to Kyiv.
