The majority of companies in Germany are dissatisfied with the hesitant implementation of the energy transition. This is the result of a survey by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Some companies from Lippe were also involved.
As in the national average, most of the companies in Lippe complain about the negative effects of the energy transition on competitiveness. According to the press release, only six percent see positive effects. About a third wants to reduce production or move abroad.
As a quick countermeasure, the economy would like lower taxes and duties on the electricity price. The Lippe companies are committed to climate protection, emphasizes the IHK. However, they felt slowed down by the lack of predictability and reliability in energy policy. In addition, there is too much bureaucracy.
