German Club Reply Toni Kroos’ Comments On Ed Sheeran Concert

Jakarta

Toni Kroos, a German footballer who plays at Real Madrid, had made a mockery of a club from his country. That Kroos comment, which also mentioned the singer Ed Sheerannow the German club replied.

Recently Ed Sheeran held a concert which took place at the Veltins Arena, a venue which is also the home stadium of the football club Schalke.

Well, it was Ed Sheeran’s appearance at the Veltins Arena that was then made a mockery by Toni Kroos. “Ed Sheeran did something I rarely see: people coming home from the stadium happy after an event at Schalke.”

Comment Kroos through his podcast, he refers to Schalke’s work in the world of football. Despite having now secured promotion to the Bundesliga, last year the club’s results were shattered to the point of being knocked out of the top division.

At that time, Schalke’s pace before finally being relegated was only winning three times out of a total of 34 matches in the 2020/2021 Bundesliga. Schalke, who was relegated as caretaker, only won 16 points which incidentally was almost half of the other relegation teams above him.

Back to Toni Kroos’ jokes towards Schalke, who brought the concerto Ed Sheeran at Veltins Arena, now the club is responding.

Schalke replied in a post on Twitter. It contains an interview of their own iconic player, Simon Terodde, after scoring a crucial goal in their bid for promotion to the Bundesliga. At that time he did it with a hoarse voice after doing a big celebration with the Schalke camp.

“At least we can give a cool interview after the final whistle,” Schalke tweeted in the post.

Well, Schalke’s reply itself refers to the moment after the match when Toni Kroos reluctantly answered journalists’ questions after Real Madrid’s victory over Liverpool in the Champions League final.

“You have 90 minutes and instead ask two stupid questions. Two negative questions. You can already guess that you are German,” said Kroos at that time.
