King of Thailand have assets of fantastic value outside the country. So far, trouble tax of the king’s assets in this man’s land was snooped on by the host country’s authorities, German.
He is Maha Vajiralongkorn, son of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Maha Vajiralongkorn does not live in Thailand, his own country. He lives in Germany, Western Europe.
Reported by Deutsche Welle (DW), Tuesday (16/2/2022), the King of the White Elephant Country mostly stays at the luxury hotel Sonnenbichi, the tourist area of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
“Thais are already frustrated, but the king doesn’t care,” said Pavin Chachavalpongpun, a professor at Kyoto University’s Center for Southeast Asian Studies.
“He prefers to live in Germany, that’s his personal preference,” Pavin explained. “He can still travel as much as he wants, in and out of Germany. Sometimes, he just makes a one-day visit to Bangkok and then back to Germany.”
