Once a week, Liberty and Côté Caen (Calvados) introduce you a cat or a dog to adopt. This Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the SPA of Lower Normandy of Verson invites you to welcome Gerko to your home, a 10 year old Setter-Gordon Crusader.
“Calm, cuddly and attentive”
He is a large dog, calm, cuddly and attentive, assures Claudie, one of the volunteers at the Verson refuge. He already has basic education and walks calmly on a leash.
With its golden character, it is likely to make the happiness of many masters. “He’s old but still in good shape. You really don’t have to stop at his age. “
How to adopt it?
To adopt, you have to go to the refuge to meet the residents.
Before any adoption, we discuss with the potential adopters to find out if their lifestyle corresponds to the animal.
You will then be asked for proof of address, identity document and participation in accommodation and veterinary costs: identification, vaccination, sterilization and antiparasites. It is 380 euros for a dog less than 10 months old, 50 euros if it is over 10 years old, and 330 euros for any other dog.
For example, if you choose Gerko, it will cost you 50 euros.
