On November 14, Philips offered for sale an edition of the Abstraktes Bild series by Gerhard Richter. An immense painting, 4 meters wide and 2 meters high, whose explosive power, depth of colors and emotional resonance show all the talent of the German painter. And guess what? This large-scale painting was sold for the whopping sum of $37.8 million!
