/ world today news/ The businessman Georgi Gergov stated in an interview for Kanal 3 that he was used by the entrepreneur Sasho Donchev, who caused a scandal by announcing details of a meeting between the two with the chief prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov, which took place a month ago. According to Gergov, at the meeting in question, the head of “Overgaz” actually made an attempt to influence the chief prosecutor in connection with a prosecutor’s investigation against him.
Georgi Gergov explained that it was not the chief prosecutor who requested this meeting. “What can the chief prosecutor ask from Sasho Donchev?” he asked rhetorically. According to him, it was a normal conversation in which he was only present without taking part.
It became clear from Gergov’s story that at the end of the meeting, Sasho Donchev actually took out three sheets of paper with “clear wishes to be fulfilled”, but Tsatsarov clearly answered him that there was no way this could be done.

Gergov expressed suspicions that Rumen Ovcharov was behind the attack against him.
