Gerdau Minas confirmed, this Friday (29), an important absence for the second game of the quarter-finals of the Women’s Volleyball Super League, against Fluminense. The opposing starter Kisy, with dengue fever, will not be available for the match. The game will start at 9pm (Brasília time), at the Hebraica gym, in Rio de Janeiro.
“Minas Tênis Clube informs that the opposite Kisy is not among those listed for the match this Friday (29/3), against Fluminense, due to dengue infection. The athlete did not travel to Rio de Janeiro (RJ), the venue for the match, and is resting at home, following the instructions of doctor Dr. André Jafeth”, says the statement published by the press office.
Kisy is the highest scorer in the Women’s Super League with 411 points. The player is the main offensive weapon of the Minas Gerais tennis team.
The Italian coach, Nicola Nigro, does not have a substitute in his squad. Most likely, one of the pointers (Peña or Pri Daroit) will be moved to Kisy’s position. The coach has also used Carol Gattaz, central, in the position during the inversions carried out throughout the matches.
