GERB will support all measures proposed by the future government. This was said in Arbanassi by the party leader Boyko Borissov. In a video posted on his Facebook account, he even asked for even more social benefits for Bulgarians, because “the job of the opposition is to want to spend more money to show itself to its voters.” He stressed that the role of the government is to apply more conservative measures.

“There could have been a very stable government between the parties of change and GERB. I am very surprised to find out how the world champion in bank failures Rumen Gechev, or Rumen Ovcharov, or Emilia Maslarova or Atanas Atanasov became more acceptable,” Borissov said.

According to him, the current discussions between “We continue the change”, BSP, “There is such a people” and “Democratic Bulgaria” for forming a cabinet are like a pre-election debate. He added that on all topics there is a “90-95% match, which means there will be a government.”

“They can count on 100% of our support for every proposal in a hall for big projects that cost billions. We appreciate what the Bulgarian people have said and we will support all their proposals. Some because they offered 10 minimum wages for a child, others 20 , we believe that there should be 24 – not for a year and 8 months, but for 2 years. I guess the other parties, because it is for the people, for the business, will vote for them. they need a big loan to oblige the same children who were supposedly given free kindergartens, “Borissov added.

The GERB leader added that in the last 7 months the media have been “100% under the control of President Rumen Radev and his people”. “If we weren’t 112th in media freedom, they would have asked why these consultations weren’t held before the election so people could hear what was being promised.”

He also commented on the severe accident on the Struma highway, in which 45 Macedonian citizens died. According to him, in recent months there has not been a single guardrail on the Hemus and Trakia highways, and he urged journalists to go and take pictures of them.
