This was stated by the leader of the GERB party Boyko Borisov. He inspected the Europa highway.
“This is our door to Europe. We have invested tens of millions,” he said and pointed to a path through which most likely refugees pass, and around it, everything was littered.
“This is a toilet, a changing room and here is the path to the Serbian border, most likely through which refugees pass. In one word – we built a barrier facility and a highway for the Bulgarians. In three years, they didn’t even build a single customs point, they just ruined something brand new. Look what they turned it into. It’s like that everywhere,” said Boyko Borisov and even pointed to the garbage.
“Unfortunately, this is it. All the highways in Bulgaria are so rubbish, at least they should be cleaned,” he said.
