He emphasized that in December there are two very important dates – 6 and 15, for the change in the Constitution. This will definitely keep us going until then, stressed the leader of GERB.
According to him, the cabinet will remain if, together with “Continuing the change-Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB), they find the strength to produce good news not for the media, but entire sectors understand that they are doing good. However, if the practice of looking for scandals instead of unifying themes continues, it is best to dissolve this assembly and go to new negotiationsnew elections, he thinks.
We have “assembled” the government together, the failed vote is a success for the two political forces and for others who support us, commented Borisov.
According to him, the society is not yet ready with something better that can replace this, that is why the vote was rejected today.
The leader of GERB supports the creation of temporary commissions – for the police violence during the protest against the BFSrequested by PP-DB, and the second – proposed by DPS, related to the Minister and Deputy Minister of e-Government.
Borisov commented on the resignation of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov requested by PP-DB. According to him, the PP-DB started a war against Stoyanov in recent months.
“For several months, a war has started against Kalin Stoyanov from the PP-DB, because he did not agree to rioting during the elections. They brought him lists, they all changed their heads, and he held the position we agreed on – that he should appoint professionals. I have never once been there, I have not given him a single name,” said GERB leader Boyko Borisov.
He denied that the candidacy of the interior minister was of GERB and told how the election of Kalin Stoyanov came to be.
“When we had met several times, we had decided how we would act, that they would be their ministers, with our deputy ministers, Asen Vassilev – Minister of Finance, when the topic of the Ministry of Internal Affairs came up, I told them that he should be an expert, a professional, distant from everyone . .. we didn’t have a single person even at the middle management level, let alone a head of services. He consulted and then for Kalin Stoyanov he was offered, I agreed, I didn’t talk to him, I didn’t convince him, I didn’t meet. What Mr. Petkov said yesterday, I agree, if there are no political persons, there can be no political responsibility. When we had a similar problem and governed, we changed ministers, we changed chief secretaries, because we had the political responsibility. Now these appointments are expert. They were there and were appointed by the PP, not by GERB,” said Borisov.
The leader of GERB also commented on the accusations of police violence during the protest against the BFS.
“That’s why we clearly said that commissions of inquiry should be made, everything that was done should be checked, those who were innocent people should bear the responsibility. They should understand once and for all that when a person has fallen, they put handcuffs on him and take him to the regional one, you don’t continue to fight and kick each other. This is not an honor for the Pagon, and I am against that,” said the GERB leader.
