“GERB Deputy Calls Negotiations with PP a Fraud and DB a sinking ship”

I have a different opinion and I say so, especially in regards to “The Change. In my opinion, these ongoing negotiations are a big fraud – of “Change” to their voters. This is what Delyan Dobrev from GERB told BNT on the occasion of the negotiations to form a government between GERB and PP-DB.

“They got 600,000 votes because they spoke against GERB. And now every day they sit at the same table with my colleagues. I’m not going,” he declared.

“They are doing a management program. The leader in the whole work is Asen Vassilev. I do not say DB, because you see that they are silent, they try not to participate in these meetings because they are ashamed. “Asen Vassilev has reached out and is waiting for Boyko Borisov to take him by the hand and take him to the cabinet in the Council of Ministers and make him Prime Minister,” pointed out Dobrev.

“We have never sworn that we will not form a government with the Change.” They said the whole campaign that GERD was the bad guys,” he recalled.

“This is a scam. If Asen Vassilev had said before the elections that he would lend a hand, they would not have 600,000 votes,” emphasized Dobrev.

“They want Boyko Borisov figuratively to give them votes so that they can rule. Boyko Borisov, taking him by the hand, do you understand that he has to take him through the back entrance? Because everyone is against Asen Vassilev,” he explained.

“I am the strongest opponent against such a coalition,” he pointed out and added: “There are 2-3 of my colleagues who think like me. But if the majority ultimately decides that we will form a coalition, I will support it. I will not do separatist actions.”

“They offer us Kiril Petkov, Asen Vassilev, only Rashkov has not yet been offered to us. We do not impose conditions on other parties. Conditions are placed on us left and right. Asen Vassilev is the most unsuitable for Prime Minister, but he is the biggest meraclia. He is ready to implement another deception,” Dobrev pointed out.

“We are making a general management program. It’s downright fun. It’s good that I’m not participating,” the GERB deputy pointed out.

He recalled that the last three budgets were drawn up by Asen Vassilev: “This year, the real deficit is visible – over 6% and 12 billion debts. The treachery lies in the fact that they want President Radev to scrape up this mess that they crushed. Now they say treacherously – now in the parliament we will reject this budget, we will return it to the official cabinet and to Radev, to make it 3%. I.e. we don’t want to cut it. This is more than BGN 6 billion that must be cut. He doesn’t want Asen Vassilev to fix his own problems”.

“Let Radev cut and let Radev be the bad guy in the eyes of the people.” This is the solution, with cutting, if we are not going to raise taxes, we have to cut,” he explained and pointed out that GERB would cut costs if there was a government.

According to Dobrev, government should be formed without “Revival”, because they are against the euro. “This should be Bulgaria’s first goal,” he said, explaining that joining the eurozone would help curb the situation with rising interest rates.

“Hristo Ivanov, already in the 48th National Assembly, we wanted to support him as prime minister”, pointed out Dobrev and recalled that GERB did not receive enough support. According to him, Ivanov has the least say in the PP-DB coalition, everything is conducted by Asen Vasilev. According to him, Kiril Petkov would at some point withdraw as a nominee, but not Asen Vasilev.
