Entrepreneur Gerard Sanderink has been suspended longer as CEO of construction company Strukton. Judges have transferred management of his shares in that company and holding company Oranjewoud to someone else.
They do this after a request from the supervisory boards of those companies to put Sanderink at a distance, who believe that his behavior endangers the continued existence of the construction company. The Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal agrees.
There will also be an investigation into possible mismanagement at Strukton and Oranjewoud. Who is conducting that investigation will be announced later.
Sanderink has been in the news for some time because of private conflicts that are being fought in public. Earlier, therefore, he had to leave as the highest director of the IT company Centric he founded, the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal decided at the end of last year.
