The French actor Gérard Depardieu (74) was indicted in 2021 for rape and sexual assault, and subsequently the headlines have not been long in coming.
Accused of assault by 13 women
Now Depardieu is causing several people to frown after the French news website BFMTV describes as “sexist and vulgar remarks”.

X has shared a clip from Thursday’s broadcast of the TV program “Complément d’investigation”, where a clip from 2018 was shown where you can see Depardieu visiting North Korea.
The clip is from when the actor and director Yann Moix visited North Korea as part of the country’s 70th anniversary.

The clip causes several people at X to react.
“This is shocking (…). This bad guy must have caused considerable damage wherever he went. I feel for the victims,” write a profile.
Disappeared without a trace
Others write that the actor’s statements leave them “speechless”.
“What a big pig”, says another.

The documentary also shows a clip from a riding hall, where Depardieu states that women love to ride horses “for the sake of sexual pleasure”, writes The Guardian.

Reported sexual harassment
After the recording, actress Hélène Darras claimed that Depardieu sexually harassed her while they were filming the documentary.

According to The Guardian, Darras explains that Depardieu should have seen her as “a piece of meat”, and claims that the actor should have asked if she “will join him in the dressing room”. After saying no, Depardieu allegedly grabbed her body.

Disassociates
The actor’s statements have caused several people to distance themselves from Depardieu, including director Fabien Onteniente, who worked with him in 2007 in connection with the film “Disco”.
Charlie Sheen is back
Opposite Franceinfo says Onteniente that he does not want to work with Depardieu in the future.
